I loved talking with people, and I recognized the impact I had on others. Being an avid runner for almost all my life, I found that my passion for people and the health and interests of others was important to me and Physical Therapy was the perfect place to blend these elements together.

I pursued the field of orthopedics because I like the extended time spent with people in this area and the puzzle that is the musculoskeletal system. I found that the ideals and approach to our profession from the UW Physical Therapy program aligned well with my own. I believe that Physical Therapists hold a key role in the healthcare system because of the knowledge we possess and the extensive interaction time we have with patients. I plan to use my knowledge and experiences to empower not only my patients but also the next generation of physical therapists and healthcare practitioners by employing an evidence-based and holistic approach to treatment.

Outside the clinic, you can usually find me running in local parks and trails or seeking out the highest points in Washington! I also enjoy trying new recipes, completing multi-day jigsaw puzzles, solving brain teasers, and golfing. I love the Pacific Northwest and look forward to continuing my appreciation for the outdoors and helping others return to the activities they enjoy!

Jack Kobylka It has been a passion of mine not only to be a Physical Therapist but also to be someone that people can count on to have a genuine, joyful, and human experience with!
