We have two tracks, an advanced clinical track and a teaching track. Both tracks have three primary areas of focus:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advanced clinical practice: the resident will practice on average 36 hours a week at IRG Physical and Hand Therapy Ballard or at MTI (Magnolia or Bellevue).\u00a0 Here the residents will have the opportunity to advance their clinical reasoning and practice and be mentored by highly skilled clinicians in all areas of orthopedic practice.\u00a0 Also, the resident will receive additional didactic training both through the University and external courses being offered through the Ola Grimsby Institute and Evidence in Motion.<\/li>\n<li>Physical Therapist as Educator\n<ul>\n<li>Teaching Track: The resident will receive training in evidence-based teaching methods and will have the chance to apply these skills in two entry-level DPT orthopedic classes.
