Meet our Resident
Hi, my name is Ciara! I am originally from the Dallas, Texas area but I have lived in a few different places over the last few years. I studied Kinesiology with a concentration in Clinical Exercise Physiology before graduating in December of 2019. During my time at Mississippi State, I played for the women’s soccer team, assisted with research regarding physical activity within elementary school classrooms, and prepared to apply for my DPT program. In January 2020, I began my DPT education at Baylor University which allowed me to finish the program in two years. My final clinical affiliation brought me to the King County area which I immediately fell in love with and now call home! In my free time, you will find me exploring the outdoors, attending the nearest concert, or catching up on the latest Marvel movies!
I am excited to be the UW Acute Care Resident and spend the next year under incredible mentorship and advancing my clinical skills. The opportunity to assist with current DPT students as a Teacher’s Assistant and spend time in current literature with my fellow residents all while working in the profession I love is such a unique experience that I am thrilled to begin!
