University of Washington – Evergreen Health Acute Care Physical Therapy Residency Program!
ABOUT THE RESIDENCY
The UW-EH Acute Care Physical Therapy Residency is a 15-month, full-time residency program for licensed physical therapists interested in specializing in acute care physical therapy.
Clinical Practice Areas – Practice (minimum of 36 hours/week) and receive a minimum of 150 hours of mentored training in four rotations: Surgical, Medical, Cardiothoracic, and Oncology, and their respective intensive care units.
Teaching Experience – Serve as a teaching assistant and clinical instructor for second-year DPT students in two of their fall classes.
Leadership/Advocacy – Complete a variety of quality improvement, advocacy, education, and leadership activities on local and national levels.
