Meet our Resident
Hello! My name is Andrew Evans. I am originally from Indiana, but have lived all over the United States over the last 15 years or so. I served six years in the Navy as a linguist before attending Ohio State University. I graduated from OSU in 2021 with a degree in Health Sciences. Following my time at Ohio State, I moved to Seattle to begin physical therapy school at UW. I fell in love with the area, and plan to stay here long-term as a practicing physical therapist.
When I’m not doing PT-related activities, you can usually find me in my home gym, gaming (both video and board games), spending time with my fiancé, reading, running with my dog, and doing Judo and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
I’m incredibly excited to participate in the University of Washington – EvergreenHealth Acute Care Physical Therapy Residency program. Acute care is a specific skillset that really speaks to my interests, and I look forward to further refining my skills in the clinic through this residency. I am also looking forward to teaching new PT students and increasing awareness of physical therapy in the acute setting.
