Adam Babitts, PT, DPT

Adam Babitts is a physical therapist who graduated with his DPT from Mount Saint Mary’s University in Los Angeles in 2013. He is a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist and completed an orthopedic residency through Healthcare Partners Medical Group (now Optum Physical Therapy) in 2015 and a movement science fellowship through Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine in 2017. He co-authored a clinical practice guide, “Surfing, More Than Just Riding a Wave: A Movement System Impairments Syndromes Approach to the Evaluation and Treatment of the Surfing Athlete,” for the APTA’s Orthopedic Section monograph series. He has taught at the graduate level in orthopedic physical therapy courses at Mount Saint Mary’s University in Los Angeles and the University of Washington, and professional continuing education courses through Washington University in St. Louis’ physical therapy program. Currently, he is completing his PhD at the University of Washington, focusing on subgrouping individuals with lumbar spinal stenosis.
