Meet our Residents
Beth McAndrews, PT, DPT
Lauren Trevis, PT, DPT
Hello! My name is Lauren Trevis. If there are two things that you should know about me, they’re that I’m a native Oregonian tried and true and that I’m passionate about neurological PT. When I’m not practicing physical therapy, you’ll find me out exploring all the beautiful outdoor recreation the PNW has to offer—whether by foot, bike, kayak, or on a pair of skis.
I earned my degree in Kinesiology from the Oregon State University Honors College from 2014-2018, during which I completed an undergraduate thesis on fall prevention in older adults. After graduation, I packed my bags and moved to the Rockies to pursue my Doctor of Physical Therapy at Regis University in Denver, Colorado. As a DPT student, I was highly involved in the Colorado APTA, fostering a passion for the power of professional advocacy.
In the year between graduation and beginning residency, I moved back home to Oregon, where I worked in both the outpatient and inpatient acute settings. I’m so excited to be pursuing residency through the University of Washington – EvergreenHealth Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency program! Through the residency, I hope to refine my neurological skillset to become an even stronger provider and advocate for my patients. I’m also excited to grow my teaching skills, and I hope to someday shape the future of our profession by educating the next generation of neurological physical therapists.
