Meet our Residents
My passion for neuroscience began as a competitive figure skater where I discovered how powerful the mind-body connection really can be. This drove me to complete a Bachelor of Science degree in cognitive and behavioral neuroscience at Loyola University Chicago, where I attended from 2017-2021. I then moved to Atlanta, GA where I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Emory University in May 2024. As a DPT student, I remained involved in community service. My favorite service opportunity was presenting on balance and fall prevention to the local community in Bend, Oregon during my final semester.
After graduation, I moved back home to Chicago where I worked in both the outpatient and inpatient settings for one year before pursuing residency. I am so thankful to be a part of the UW-EvergreenHealth Neurologic PT Residency program. Over the next coming months, I look forward to refining my clinical skills as a neurologic physical therapist and become a strong advocate for my patients. I hope to solidify both my passions for teaching and service to give back to the community that inspires me daily!
Graduate Residents
Stella Gillman, PT, DPT
Stella just graduated from our residency in December of 2025 and is taking some time to travel and study for her NCS exam coming up in March.
Lauren Trevis, PT, DPT, NCS
Lauren graduated in 2023 and she is currently working at EvergreenHealth, both on the inpatient rehab unit and in acute care, caring for neurologic patients. She is also one of our primary mentors for our neurologic residency and is actively involved in the APTA Washington education commitee and as an alternate delegate.
