Our Current Resident

Heather Vega, PT, DPT
Heather Vega PT, DPT

Heather grew up in Maine, completed her DPT at Texas State University and is currently enjoying all that the PNW has to offer. She is pursuing a pediatric residency to deepen her understanding of pediatric care across settings and develop her skills to be able to best serve pediatric patients and their families. She hopes to one day work as a NICU physical therapist.

Maya King PT, DPT

Maya King is our fifth resident and graduated in 2025. She has moved back to Virginia to be closer to family and is practicing in pediatrics in a health system.


Kimberly Ward, PT, DPT, PCS
Kimberly Ward PT, DPT, PCS

Kimberly Ward was our fifth resident. She graduated in 2024. She is now working in Early Intervention at Wonderland Child and Family Services and is part of the Washington National Guard.


Daniel Millar, PT, DPT, MHA, PCS
Daniel Millar PT, DPT, MHA, PCS

Daniel Millar was our fourth resident. He graduated in 2023. He is now working at Rehab Without Walls.


Wendy Schnare, PT, DPT, PCS
Wendy Schnare PT, DPT, PCS

Wendy Schnare was our third resident and she graduated in 2022. She is currently working at Oakland Medical Center in outpatient pediatrics


Kaycee Howell, PT, DPT, PCS
Kaycee Howell PT, DPT, PCS

Kaycee Howell was our second resident and graduated in 2021. She joined the staff at Seattle Children’s Hospital and is working on the acute care rotation, and is now a mentor in our residency program.

Kelsey Pauley, MA, PT, DPT, PCS

Kelsey Pauley was our first resident. Kelsey joined the UW/SCH Pediatric PT Residency from her hometown of Avon, IN, and completed her residency in July  2020. She is now working at St. Louis Childrens Hospital.
